one am rant

some people think we’re crazy or “oa” to be supporting people who lives thousands of miles away, people who lives a totally different life from ours, or worse, people that doesn’t even know we exist. they may also say we’re a bit ridiculous to be spending lots and lots of money for that artist’s merchandise, cds, concert tickets, etc. but let me tell you something, as cliché as this sounds, some of us wouldn’t be the person we are today if it weren’t for that certain artist. that artist brought out the best in some of us. not even our closest friends and family can do that. and it sometimes just pisses me off that some people judge other people base on their taste of music. like boys can be obsessed with sports but when a girl likes a certain musician her sanity is basically destroyed and it’s socially unacceptable? does it really bother you that, that artist can make that person really really happy? if it does, you have the choice to leave us alone and ignore us because in the first place it has nothing to do with you. just mind your own business and leave us and our fangirl hearts alone. ✌
